I agree it would be nice to go back to a place like presearing.
It wouldn't have to be the place inhabited by newbs, but just a nice green, friendly place. It could be implemented as another set of districts of presearing with no access between it and the newb presearing.

Actually, I thought some of the Kryta missions were more beautiful then Presearing lol.....I think the layout design of it made it look a lot better then presearing. Especially the one Mission where you needed to find the Orrion Book, I thought that place looked awesome, and truly wished that places around where I lived looked like it.....well...without the spooky ghosts and lightening dragons :P But that doesn't change the fact it looked really beautiful

Perhaps after you Ascend and all that junk you discover that an Earthquake hit Ascalon, which unearthed an entry to the Catacombs. You get a quest to go back there and once in the Cats you find some new areas to explore and most of the olde is still blocked off.... however the exit to Wizards Folly is free and you discover the area survived the Searing and is still green. You could then have some other new un-seared areas to discover from there.....

I've personally wondered (but never wanted to bother trying this) if it were possible to max out at lvl 16 (or 15? whatever the cap is) by killing the boss monsters repeatedly, and then go back and do all the quests available to level up once more. It'd be a painful experiment to say the least, especially considering you'd have to avoid getting any but perhaps the starting skills just to have a chance.

Actually I'm trying to do that now with a Warrior/Ranger with a pet and a friend who has a pet who hasn't completed across the wall. That's a total of 5 people. Two People, two pets, and the ben dude that's a ranger who dies quickly but helps a little anyway. Not to mention luring char to the 4 ascalon rangers and monk at the start of the level. Anyway we're doing our best to try and clear out the area and I'm personally trying to get to level 16 (the max) but it's going to be hell because you have only a few bosses while all char give no xp and are in the way. You have limited skills and limited armour and weapons, and I suggest you only do quests once normal char give no xp. That way you get the xp from quests, and kill the char generals. The quests will not supply enough xp to level up to level 17, it's like 200k to get to level 17 from 16 and since those general char will be giving only about 16 xp per kill, you'd have to have a loyal friend and a lot of junk to get to 16. I've seen 14, 15 is really high too, but 16 is godly. Just don't leave pre searing or you'll be a nobody. oooh it's such a pain. Do the quests and just don't finish them, you'll get skills and stuff, you'll need them.
